It is with great regret that we are taking the decision to cancel the Gathering of the Clans event for 2011. There are several reasons which individually wouldn’t matter, but combined have made the event untenable. It is quite disappointing, but the organisers now wish to focus our efforts into building the event for 2012. In the meantime both DWARF and [elg] will be running our smaller annual tornaments. Thank you for your support and apologies for your disappointment.

The tournament packs are available on the Tournaments page, but for easy reference here they are. Our Tournament Organisers have done a great job and it’s looking like a grand day of casual gaming, rounded out with time to chat to authors (to be announced soon!), writers, play demo games, … a full day indeed: phew!

Blood Bowl (40 players); 1,100,000 gold pieces, 3 games
Doubles Tournament (£30 per team)
Warhammer 40,000 Doubles (40 teams); 1,250 points, 3 games

Joining local Edinburgh legends Urban Mammoth, we are very excited to announce that we will be joined by new kid on the block Mantic Games, and Black Library will be along with an author or two (we’ll keep them under wraps for the moment).
